Aaron and Alirita first came to church about three years ago. I went to their house to visit with them and to help them understand what it means to be a Christian. One of their first questions was about the Navajo traditional religion and Christianity and if the two could go together. After explaining to them that loyalty to Christ was required and that they would not need the traditional religion because Christ would meet all their needs, they did not come back to church for a long time. This past year they started coming to church again with the issue settled in their heart and willing to turn away from tradition and to the Lord. They both have trusted Christ as their Savior now and have a real hunger to learn the Bible and to bring their family to church. I have been going to their house every week to disciple them. They were both recently baptized.
