Nuh Ahmed, a Muslim young man who accepted Christ as his Saviour, expressed a burden for his sister, Rahmah, almost immediately after he was saved. In July she came to Nairobi to visit Nuh and came to church with him that Sunday. After the services, Jane and I had the opportunity to share the Gospel with her and to see her bow her head and receive Christ as her Saviour. What a blessing it was for Nuh, a new believer himself, to see God answer his prayers for his sister!
What we did not know at the time was that Rahmah was ill with both typhoid and malaria. While here in Nairobi, her illness became so severe that she was admitted to the hospital. Nine days after receiving Christ as her Saviour, she went to be with Him. The rest of Nuh’s family blame him for her death. He has twice been forced to move from where he was living and has been beaten three times, with two of those times requiring medical attention. The last time he was beaten he told them, “I will not deny being a Christian.” Please continue to pray for Nuh and his growth in the Lord. Bill Coley – Kenya
