We had asked people to pray for a Japanese lady who has been attending our church for a few months.  During our mission conference, Carol had a Ladies Hawaiian Tea which Akiko attended.  After the devotion, she stood up and buried her hands in her face and wept.  She said she didn’t know God.  Carol was able to lead her to the Lord.  It has been a while since I have seen such conviction and such a drastic change.  We immediately called Japan to let Shinobu know of her decision.  Shinobu had invited her to church and had earnestly prayed for her salvation however, her husband serves in the USAF and they had been transferred to Japan before her prayer was answered.  What a time of rejoicing we had!
