Rosy has been attending Amazing Grace Baptist Church since the first Sunday of August 2006, the Sunday right after our Vacation Bible School.  Her children and her sister’s children had been attending all week.  Both Rosy and her sister attended our services for several weeks, before her sister stopped coming, due to her husband’s strong objections.  Rosy continued to attend and listen to the messages from God’s Word.  She is an unusually shy person, at least unusual for the people in our part of Mexico.  Rosy even started a series of discipleship classes given to her by one of our faithful members, yet still no profession of faith.  On the 14th of January, the Lord did what the Lord does.  He saved Rosy.

Right after I preached, I was so thrilled to see her respond to the invitation.  She tearfully, yet joyfully, called on the Name of the Lord for the salvation of her soul.  And not only her, but that Sunday I was also honored to lead to Christ three others;  Yudith, a 9-year-old girl whose parents I led to Christ and baptized some time ago;  Ramon a man in his late 20’s who has been attending services, including prayer meeting on Tuesday nights for 3 months; and Dario, a-54-year old man who came to our church for the first time that Sunday.  We are grateful to the Lord for these new believers.  Please be praying for them.
