“Do you know what your name means?” Lance asked our neighbor. “No, what?”  Immanuel asked. “It means ‘God with us’.  I think of you every Christmas, since that is the name most often used in reference to Christ coming to earth.” “Really?!”  Our neighbors seemed interested.  They went on to say, “Well, then you should hear his first name!”  Immanuel’s parents are Spanish, and his actual first name is “Salvador” meaning “Savior”!

Can you imagine?  His name is Savior Immanuel!  What an awesome opportunity this was to share the Gospel with our lost neighbors!  All because of the significance in a name! Please pray for Immanuel, his wife Christine, and the rest of their family.  Pray that they would accept the true Savior in their hearts and thus experience what it is to know that God is with us!
