More Work To Do

Pat Ravonwood is a lady in her 80’s who attends a weekly Bible study I conduct on Thursdays.  Recently she came to me with a big smile on her face and a wonderful reason as to why it was there.  A man she has known for years had repeatedly rebuffed her attempts to share Christ with him.  He recently had a small stroke and began to consider his mortality.  On her next visit she had a willing listener.  “After a time I asked him if he would like to receive Jesus as his Savior and he said yes!”  Pat had tears in her eyes.  She then said, “I wrote a friend of mine in New Plymouth who is not a Christian.  At the end of my letter I gave him the sinner's prayer and guess what?  He asked Jesus to save him!”  God is so good!

Last year Pat went into hospital for heart surgery and her chances of survival were not good.  She lived, had a miraculous recovery and we all praised God.  I guess God just wasn’t done with her yet!
