Psalm 37:23  "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way." Sometimes we just have to be willing to go where the Lord would have us to go without question because it is God’s plan for our lives.

This past month Bro. Peter Kasamba (missionary going to Tanzania) was outside the compound of the church and his residence around 9:00 PM in the town of Athi River.  Sometimes the police apprehend people who are not doing anything wrong just to be able to extort money from them.  That night the police took Bro. Peter and another man into custody and locked them in a holding cell for the night.  Peter could have looked at his situation of being wrongfully accused as an injustice and insulting but the Lord guided him to start witnessing to his fellow captives.  There also was another individual who was in custody that was badly beaten by thugs.  I believe that the beaten man was put into the cell awaiting transport to the hospital.  Bro. Peter began to witness to the injured man.  It was also a blessing that even the other captives were able to hear the plan of salvation simply explained.

After sharing the gospel with the injured man he accepted Christ as his Savior.  Shortly afterwards the man who accepted Christ died and went off into eternity.  It is always amazing how God directs His children to be in the right place at the right time.  What a great reminder that God cares about the lost enough to put His children in peril for their sakes.
