In the village of Rogova the ministry is growing. Every Saturday, we have between 35-45 children who come to play their instruments and sing in a little choir. These are great children that come from poor families. One boy whose name is Vasile, comes faithfully to church and always invites his parents and his brothers to come with him, but they always say they are too busy to come. He was afraid that his family would not come to church and hear the truth about Jesus Christ. After many attempts to get them to come, they finally came in December and they enjoyed the church services. We visited the family and explained the plan of salvation, but they said that they needed to think about it before they made a decision. Later, when we were caroling in Rogova, they came with us and we were able to talk more about Christ. Vasile’s mother said that Vasile’s life had really changed since he got involved with the church and that God had worked a miracle in his life. Vasile begged us to visit his family again, so we called ahead to see if they would be home. When Vasile’s dad, Ion, heard that we were coming to his house again, he invited his two brothers and one of his friends to be there also. He also told the rest of his children to stay in the house and to listen to what we had to say. When we arrived at their house, 11 people were there and we started sharing the Gospel with all of them. Before we left, both Ion and his wife received Christ as their personal Savior! Praise the Lord for this! In the weeks that followed, the rest of Ion’s children and his brother began to come to church services. Please pray for them as they still need the Lord as their Savior. We praise the Lord for children like Vasile, and we pray that God will continue to use him in great ways for the rest of his life.
