I wanted to share a very special testimony of one who got saved this past week.  His name is Saul and he lives right around the corner from the church.  He says that he remembers answering the door and receiving a tract from Larry, which included an invitation to our grand opening service – that would have been about 6 and a half years ago.  He said that at that time he was very committed to his Catholic faith and was not really interested in hearing anything different.  Then last year in college, he met a young Christian man who had shared many things with him from the scriptures.  He also began to see many things in his church that contradicted what he saw in the Bible.  He has also been reading literature that the Jehovah’s Witnesses had left with him, which caused him much confusion. For the past year he said that every time he would walk past our church, he would think about maybe coming inside.  Finally back in the fall he did!  He has been coming rather faithfully to church since then and has been attending all the youth events.

Several different ones in our church have witnessed to him personally, and he was hearing the plan of salvation each Sunday in the service, but he always said that he wasn’t quite ready.  This past Friday night he finally made a decision to accept Christ as his personal Savior!  The whole youth group has done an excellent job taking him in and they all rejoiced with him in this wonderful decision.  We have two other unsaved teens that have been coming to the youth meetings for a few weeks now, please pray for their soon salvation too.
