The Harvest Isn't Past
The Harvest Isn't Past

Summer Camp:  Luis was one of a number of lost young people that attended our 7th annual summer camp in January.  He was there for the activities and had made up his mind NOT to become “religious”.  He stood firm in that decision through the week.  On the last day I preached on Jeremiah 8:20, “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved”.  My heart sank, when during the invitation, Luis got up and walked out.  His counselor followed him and found him sitting by a tree.  This tough teen, abandoned by his father as a child, was weeping and crying out to God.  Praise the Lord, Luis trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, and is now a child of his Heavenly Father!  Altogether 18 were saved at summer camp!  Praise the Lord, the harvest isn’t past!
