We started out the month with a back to school fair for the kids.  We offered fun, games, puppets, food, and prizes, while focusing it all on Christ and His gift of salvation.  We registered 241 kids—this didn’t include the workers, teens, or adults.  Throughout the day we had 42 people give their lives to Christ.

We have been continuing our youth night every Friday.  We have seen it grow to an average of around 12 teens and have even had a high of 28!  We are using this time to challenge them to make right choices and be good examples.  We have seen two of these teens accept Christ during the last month.  We are really excited about this group and are anxious to see them grow in God’s word as well as reach out to other teens.

We are quickly growing out of our little rental house and are excited to tell you that we are in the process of purchasing some land in the middle of Tres Rios.  Ray will be taking care of all the legal issues and signing all the papers in the next couple of weeks.  We are so excited to start this next step of ministry and are eager to see what God is going to do.  Soon we will begin raising funds to construct a building on the land.  God has sent amazing people our way to provide almost all the money for the land, and we are trusting Him to lead us in the right direction in order to complete this project.
