Several years ago, a teenage girl named Leah attended our church with some friends.  Her family had been deeply hurt by a cultic church here in Singapore and completely “given up on church.”  Therefore, while Leah enjoyed being with our teens, she had no desire to become a Christian.  So, for several years now we have been praying that God would work in Leah’s heart and draw her to Himself.

This past month, we had our annual youth camp which was headed up and directed by two of our families.  During the four-day camp, the Word of God was clearly taught and the seed was sown.  Even though the Lord worked in the hearts of many of our young people, Leah went home still unsaved.  However, as you already know, even after the invitation is ended, God’s Spirit continues to work.  So at three o’clock the next morning, Brother Lee received a text message on his phone from Leah stating that she had not been able to sleep and that she had finally put her faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Please pray for this young lady.  Also, pray with us that God will use this to open a door of opportunity for us to reach her family for Christ.
