The first week of our summer camps is now history.  God blessed as always and we had 10 children accept Christ. One of them was from our church.  At the beginning of the invitation on Wednesday night he was the first one to step out to accept Christ.  After talking with his counselor about his conversion, he told us Miguel said to him, “I have a LOT of sins and I really need to be forgiven.”  We have no reason to question his sincerity.  Carolyn was talking with his mother to see how he told her about his decision at camp when he arrived home.  He said “I have some good news, but I am not going to say it – rather I am going to sing it.”  And he began singing to his mom “I have decided to follow Jesus…”  His father is a former Catholic missionary to Ecuador.  We have requested prayer for his salvation many times.
