It started out as an idea and then the thought turned into a prayer.  Sometime back Nancy started gathering the many names of the different ladies who have been attending our church without their husbands.  Nancy has been compiling the names of all these families on note cards and systematically praying for these families that the men would come to Christ.

We decided to write a letter. We individually addressed and hand carried these letters to these men.  With each letter was an announcement that we would like to especially welcome all the husbands and fathers this month to attend our services.  As a gift from our church we are taking family pictures and giving it to them.

This past Sunday we had some new fathers come to the services and attend with their families.  God led me to preach a simple and illustrated message about the faith of Father Abraham and how that God provided a different sacrifice instead of his beloved son Isaac.  God blessed and one of the new fathers came forward and received Christ as his Savior. We give God the glory and we thank Him for the answers to our prayers.
