Pray for the situation in Indonesia. Our government leaders claim to believe in religious tolerance, but they continue to allow: forced church closures by fanatical Muslim groups, forced closure of moderate Muslim groups that do not satisfy fanatical Muslim practices. These events have caused large outcries from moderate Islamic people here in Indonesia, but so far government promises to correct these practices have remained fruitless. Sadly, it seems that most Indonesians are not for this continual drift that is pushing our country towards an intolerant religious society. The country seems to be inextricably bound to placate the agitative spirit of fanatical Islam.
