Breaking Taboos: One of the charter members of our church invited a couple of new members to go fishing with him.  For one of the men, it was his first time fishing.  He was a Buddhist, before accepting Christ.  When his father learned about his new hobby of fishing, he was harshly criticized for his callous cruelty.  Buddhism teaches it is wrong to hurt or kill any animal.  Fish hooks are a taboo, even if it is a catch and release operation!
