Seeing God in the Everyday
Seeing God in the Everyday
Today at church, Diane shared pictures of her agricultural project that we have prayed for and then watched as God worked in her in developing both the project and her faith in Him.  We have prayed from just before she acquired the land until we have seen the first crops harvested.  Tomorrow (!) she sells her first crop.  For that, she stood to give God glory.

The focus of our ladies meeting yesterday was commitment to serve Christ and tell others about Him.  All of our ladies are new Christians and it was a blessing to hear one say, “You know, I never thought I could tithe, but I do now, and I don’t even miss it.  I have a regularly scheduled time to meet with God each day.”  You knew you were in Botswana when she said, “It’s just like taking your ARV’s (drug for AIDS), you just make sure you do it.”

Many people in Botswana have been taught some incredible and non-biblical views of salvation.  We have begun a short series hoping to help them understand plainly what Jesus did to save us and that it is nothing in ourselves that brings us to Christ.  Please pray that people’s hearts will be open and accepting of the TRUTH, and that some of our people who need to be saved will come to Christ during this series.
