Green Tea
One of the things Taiwan is noted for is its tea. Taiwan’s tea is so good it is now being harvested in mainland China. There are lots of “tea houses” in Taiwan where you can enjoy many different flavors of tea. Many of Taiwan’s hotels and restaurants offer a “teatime” that runs from about 2:30-4:30 in the afternoon. One type of tea that we learned about when we first arrived many years ago was “green” tea. This tea comes about through the proper processing of the tea leaves. “Green” tea is known for its medicinal benefits. In fact, we’ve learned that Wal-Mart is also selling “green” tea these days.
In order to enjoy that tea it has to be planted, watered, and harvested. The same process is involved for us to enjoy the blessings of seeing a church planted and come to maturity here on this mission field. In some ways it seems as if we must do a lot of watering before the harvest will come.
Please continue to pray for us as we plant the seed of the gospel of Christ to win souls. Please continue to pray for us as we water, water, and water that seed. Then continue to pray with us as we make disciples and see them added to local New Testament Baptist Churches. Then please pray that God will call from these churches nationals who will love the gospel of Christ and take His message of salvation to their own countrymen.
