Same Temptations
Same Temptations

I received the following letter of kind thoughts and words of gratitude from Tesfaye.  It is your support and prayers that have made it possible for us to minister in Ethiopia these many years.

My beloved…,

I don’t know which word to use, Parents or brother and sister in Christ?  I prefer the first because you have put a lot of effort to get my life in the right direction and help me grow in Christ. May God reward you for what you have contributed to the lives of many here in Ethiopia.  I really do love you beyond language…”

Tesfaye goes on to say that his three children are all growing up quickly and he and his wife are not getting any younger either.  He praises The Lord for protecting them during the political unrest this past year and also that they are healthy.  So many young people in Ethiopia are dying of HIV/AIDS.

Pray much for our brothers and sisters in Christ in Ethiopia.  Even those who have “good  jobs" find it hard to provide for their families.  Their children and young people are faced with the same temptations as yours.  Churches lack the facilities and finances to have special ministries for them.
