Nearly 400 children in three churches participated in this year’s VBS!  Praise the Lord seventy-six trusted Christ as Savior!  Let me tell you about one little girl, Alison.  Her mother, Ivana, was one of our first believers in the church in Tabladita, and her father and grandfather had both been saved through the ministry there.  The week after attending VBS, Alison and her grandfather went on a trip together.  On their way home, with the lights of Tarija in the distance, the tired bus driver fell asleep.  The bus plunged over the edge, freefalling 150 feet before hitting the side of the mountain.  Everyone on board was killed.  Forty-two Bolivians, most from Tarija, stepped into eternity.  I am reminded of Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”  In the midst of this all too common tragedy here in Bolivia, what a comfort to know that Alison and her grandfather were ready.
