Joy in the Journey
Joy in the Journey

It has been seven months since Malcom was diagnosed with cancer.  We want to begin this letter by thanking you once again for your faithful prayers and support as we journey through this difficult time in our lives.  The last CEA count (tumor marker) was up slightly from the month before.  Because of the severe side affects his last chemo treatment was delayed to two weeks.  Malcom still needs two more chemotherapy sessions followed by more tests the end of February to determine the next step.  We want so much to be healed and to be able to return to the field this spring.  If the Lord wills, it will be so.

In spite of many difficult days, we have experienced “JOY in the journey” as we see God’s hand in it all.  In our November newsletter, we asked prayer for a young man, Michael, who has leukemia.  It is a JOY to report that on November 16, Mike bowed his head and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.  Since that time, we have established a close relationship with his family.  It is a JOY to demonstrate true Christian love to them and to be blessed by them as well.
