Brother Stephen, our missionary to the remote Samburu District, just gave the following report: "The situation is tense in the aftermath of the outbreak of fighting between Pokot and Samburu last week, in which 4 Pokots were killed, and 3 Samburu seriously wounded.  The Pokots have retreated into the bush area, and seem to be reorganizing themselves for a revenge attack.  Many Samburu families have fled the region in fear.  The GOOD news is that the little church in Poro had visitors last Sunday, and two people came to Christ!"

In times of crisis, people are usually more open to the Gospel message.  Thank the Lord!

Please continue praying for the safety of Pastor Stephen and his family, the believers in Poro, and the overall need for peace in the region.
