Early Morning Visitors
Early Morning Visitors
A couple of Sundays ago we had an early morning visitor at our church.  When we opened the door for morning service, we discovered that we had been robbed.  This discovery made for an interesting prelude to worship!  Although we lost about five hundred dollars worth of electronics, we are grateful that no damage was done to the building.  The thieves even closed the window on their way out!

In thinking of this incident, I am reminded of the words of Jesus:  “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:  I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  There is a thief working on this island who does not want to steal material possessions but who wants to “steal” souls.  He “walketh about” keeping the eyes of the majority blinded to the abundant life Christ offers.  This is the reason we are here:  to teach people that though many will steal from them, Christ came to offer freely that which is priceless.  Please continue to pray that we will boldly share this message with those we come in contact with.  There are several who attend our church services who have not yet accepted Christ’s gift of salvation; Please pray for them.
