My dear Sandy has been suffering from some polyps on her vocal cords. The first doctor after looking at it about two months ago said cold and without emotions: “This needs to be operated, however, I don’t do this, Mrs. Falk, and you will have to go to the hospital for about one week!” We were shocked. We did not know what to do. We all began to pray earnestly. Karola from our German work suggested getting another doctors opinion. She had a doctor already lined up and even made an appointment. Dr. Neufeldt looked at the growth, the next day and said with some compassion: “I’ll give you a spray, please use it daily for one month and come and see me then! Then we’ll decide what to do!” We were somewhat relieved. Well the month passed. Last week Sandy could talk and sing again, amazing. She went to the doctor. Here is what she said after looking at Sandy’s throat: “Well, Mrs. Falk, the growth is gone!” …Sandy after she grasped what the doctor said, shouted out HALLELUJAH! The doctor is a Muslim and she responded: “Well you can say that!” What a blessing.
