Learning To Praise Him In The Storms
Learning To Praise Him In The Storms

Learning to Praise Him in the Storms:  We all know it’s easy to praise God when everything is going right.  But what about when things aren’t going as you planned?  These two months have been filled with many trials, but when so many are back to back, it can be overwhelming.  I’m so glad that our God is with us through it all.  We live in a country where traffic accidents are a part of life, but up until the last two months never faced them.  But then, BOOM!  Three in less than two weeks.  It may not seem like a big deal but I’ve now discovered that dealing with accidents here is quite different.  You must wait for the police to detail the accident at the scene.  Then you go to the Police Station, take statements and reports.  Then you visit and take care of the injured, and make sure that they are satisfied with the compensation.  In it all I was able to witness to a female officer who is interested in coming to the church!

Then, our two-year-old daughter, Charis, fell while playing in the nursery one Sunday morning.  She broke her collarbone.  We didn’t know that until the next day and after our third visit to the emergency room.  It was a very frustrating ordeal to say the least.  I am just glad that she is not any worse than she is.  In fact last week they re-examined her and decided it was okay to remove the brace.  I’m thankful to the Lord that she is healing.
