In this country, it seems progress and persecution go together.  One of our national partners emailed us, “Sir I also have bad news.  Today, that is the 25th of April, we were conducting VBS and one political group came and beat us very badly and kicked us with shoes.  One man was badly beaten, his upper lip was broken and blood was oozing from his nose.  Please pray for us.  They also took away the cell phones of these men and our camera, so I lost the pictures of the construction work as well.  Please pray for us and for every need.”  Please don’t think I’m sensationalizing; this is a fairly common occurrence in India.  Radical religous organizations seem to increase their anti-Christian activities during election times.  Pray for the believers in a local city at this time and the pending election.
