We just celebrated our 5th Anniversary and what a joy to see how “God has grown” us from a mere 4 to 100 plus. We just stand back and rejoice! The morning service was filled with celebration and emotion, as we listened to various testimonies. It was very humbling to hear the way God had used this new church in our people’s lives and in the lives of their families.
Speaking of families, our MOPS (mothers of pre-schoolers) has certainly been a major investment in the many “mums” of our community. As I sat in my discussion at MOPS recently and listened to these young mothers, I knew without a doubt that the hours of prayer, planning, and preparation was beginning to show in their lives.
Nicole, a non – church mum was openly expressing her journey in her walk of coming to faith. Although she hasn’t yet invited Christ into her life, she is certainly closer than this time a year ago! The journey is a personal one and we are thrilled “together” as we share in being a part of the journey for Nicole and many others to be saved.
Senko and his wife Nayra heard Randy on the Radio and wanted to come to church. Finally last Sunday they got up enough courage to try to find us. They stopped at a nice little place for coffee and got cold feet. When they got back in their car and turned the motor on, Randy was on the radio and was just at that place where he was giving directions to the church. They came, and God spoke very clearly to them. This was their first time to go to church together in their seven years of marriage. Pray for them as they begin a discipleship course next week.
