We are just a few weeks away from leaving the US and returning home to England.  Even though there are many things we have enjoyed while being in the States, (FOOD, cheap gas, and seeing those who have been so faithful in giving and praying), we long to return to where God has called us and where our hearts are.  Furlough has been wonderful for so many reasons.  The main reason furlough has been wonderful is because we have been seeing God work in the hearts of the people at our church in England while we are not there.  I wrote last time of how Lin trusted Christ as her Savior just before we left and that her boyfriend, Steve, trusted Christ soon after we left.  It is incredible to hear how they are both growing in the Lord during our absence.  They want to get married when we return.  They want to be baptized.  They are active in every service and activity the church has.  I even received an email from Steve, how that our midweek service is so important to him, because it is like an oasis during his workweek.  It is a time when he can escape the ungodly language and influence of his work and recharge his batteries via the study of God’s Word.
