We arrived safely to our new home and work here in southern Idaho. We are almost finished with the unpacking and getting settled. However, the most important and exciting part is seeing God’s hand moving among the Spanish speaking people.
Through our visitation and Bible studies, we have been getting acquainted with people in and around Jerome. In just nine weeks, we have reached five families and are currently working with 27 people. In one of my Bible studies with Roberto, his brother, Jose’ was listening. At the end of the study, Jose received Christ as his Savior.
It is difficult for us to make visits door to door because even though they are home, they will not answer the door if they do not know who it is. Most of our contacts have come through folks introducing us, giving us names, or through those who have called at the church looking for spiritual help. So we ask you to pray that God will continue to open doors.
Please pray for the 27 people we are now working with and for September 9 when we will be starting the church. In such a short time, God has done so much. So please continue to pray God’s blessings on the activities of the next few weeks. We are encouraged and excited about what God is doing.
