Carol and I have been missionaries to England for twelve years and had a “first” for England. We had one person get saved and another person get baptized…on the same day…in the same service. This may be a regular occurrence for you, but not for us. In the same service, Buneme, a Zambian young man, obeyed the Lord in believer's baptism. It was quite a day of rejoicing.
But it gets better. Two weeks later two Zambian young ladies, Kisu and Lui, also were baptized. All of our Zambian members “received” them into our fellowship by singing songs in their native language. It was such a beautiful way to receive new members. “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” (Psalm 122:10)
Thank you for praying for us and the ministry here. Carol and I are constantly amazed that God would use a couple of bus kids to affect people’s lives for eternity. We are not talented, just available, and by God’s grace we want to be faithful. God has honored our faithfulness and given us fruit for our labor, fruit that once again abounds to your account.
