At almost 85 years of age, I am not running any foot races, but I am still plodding along (with liniment in one hand, and Aspercreme in the other). When I get up from my chair, I could be the perfect advertisement for the breakfast cereal “snap, crackle, and pop”, but I am still looking forward to seeing what God can do with me in 2008. Although I cannot do everything I would like to do, I pray that I will be able to encourage others and be a blessing to them.
I realize, every day, that I still have many things to learn. I pray I’ll never stop learning the things that the Lord wants to teach me.
I am sure you have seen on the news what the situation is in Pakistan. When we were there, we witnessed many of the same things happening. Please pray for the missionaries and Pakistani Christians during this time of turmoil and upheaval. We know that God is still in control. I pray that this will cause many to seek Him.
