The last several weeks we have seen the Lord working in the lives of the people in Miguel Aleman.  It is a blessing when we see people begin to get involved in the work.  This was evident last week in the life of one of the first converts of the church.  Pastor Ulises was giving a discipleship class to Juanita on idols and idol worship.  At the end of the class she wanted to know what to do with the idols she has had in her home all these years.  She wanted to give the idols to someone else in her family.  The Pastor explained that wouldn’t be a good idea since it would be transferring the worship to someone else.  Finally she told Ulises to take the idols and get rid of them.  Ulises took them to the church and broke them in pieces.  Juanita will receive ridicule from her family and friends for what she has done.
