It was exactly 40 years since the country of Czechoslovakia was invaded by the Soviet army. I was 9 years old. I still remember that sad day. We saw the tanks rumbling through the streets. Our freedom was lost in one day. This event reminds me that freedom can be lost quickly as well as subtly, with terrible consequences. We praise the Lord that Slovakia is free today. We can now preach the Gospel to the Slovak people, fearlessly, bringing the Gospel of freedom in Christ to this nation!
